Assemble Your Custom Lego Mini-Figure Mass Effect Squad

by Isaac Federspiel on Mar 14, 2014 at 09:29 AM

Lego has recently been licensing tons of geeky properties like Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, and both Marvel and DC comics figures. But they’ve been a bit lacking in licensing video games, with the exception of Minecraft. The site Saber-Scorpian’s Lair provides tons of geeky Lego designs, including these minifigures based off Mass Effect.

The figures separately run for around $20, the cost varies for less and more complex figures, or you can pick up the entire “Star Explorers Series 1” collection for $134.99, which saves you $9.94.

Alternatively, a set of stickers for each character is available for $1.50, or $25.00 for the character pack, and can be used to modify a figure you already own. Also sold are PDF instructions for building larger creations, like the M35 Mako from Mass Effect, and weapons for minifigures.

The minifigures are mainly designed by Justin R. Stebbins, who is aided by his brother and sister, and he’s been running Saber-Scorpion’s Lair since 2000. Stebbins also sells minifigures based on Halo, Gears of War, Dead Space, Destiny, Tomb Raider, Team Fortress 2, and several more popular video game franchises.

Thanks for the tip, Luis!
