Joel Green, Inspiration For That Dragon, Cancer, Passes Away At Age 5
A boy’s life has ended far too soon. At five years old, and after suffering from terminal cancer for most of his life, Joel Green has passed away.
Joel’s parents, Ryan and Amy, are telling their story through an interactive experience called That Dragon, Cancer (recently included in a Game Informer feature on empathy games). The title is scheduled for release on Ouya and as many other platforms as possible some time this year.
This morning, the Greens shared this image of Ryan and Joel on the game’s development blog.
