Our TakeIt's always heartwarming to see overlap among our favorite game designers. Hideo Kojima has cited the Grand Theft Auto series on multiple occasions as the bar of game design he hopes to achieve. He even called out Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in an early trailer for Metal Gear Solid 3. It's an honor for Rockstar to receive the award, as much as it is for Hideo Kojima to present it.
