Resident Evil 6 Prequel Manga Heading To North America
North American manga publisher Viz Media has announced plans to bring a Resident Evil 6 prequel manga previously released in Japan to North America.
The manga explains what Chris Redfield was up to before the events of Resident Evil 6. He and his team are tasked with investigating an apparent virus breakout at a prestigious high school. Before he arrives, however, a teacher at the school, Professor Doug Wright, and his nephew Ricky try to figure out what's going on. The manga runs five volumes and will begin publishing in November.

Our Take
Resident Evil 6 released in 2012, and was generally disliked compared to other entries in the Resident Evil series. The timing for a prequel manga for a game that is more than a year old seems odd, but I am sure there are some hardcore Resident Evil fans out there who will be happy to finally read the manga in English.
