Into the Pixel Opens Submissions For 2014 Show

by Ben Reeves on Mar 03, 2014 at 12:07 PM

Every year the The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences and the Entertainment Software Association run an art show based on video game concept pieces called Into the Pixel. This year's show is now taking submissions.

Currently in it's 11th year, the Into the Pixel show honors the hard-working video game artists who help make games look great. This year's show will premiere during E3, from June 10-12 and will then continue to tour at shows such as PAX, SXSW, and the annual D.I.C.E. Summit. If you're a video game artist or representative, you can submit in-game or concept art for consideration via Into The Pixel's website until Friday, March 28.

Check out the 2013 collection, which includes art from games like The Last of Us, Broken Age, Super Time Force, and League of Legends.

Our Take
I love Into The Pixel, and I always make a point to swing by the gallery during E3. Good luck to all the artists entering the show; I hope you inspire the next generation...and that someday I'll be able to afford some of your original art.
