Regardless of whether you are a PlayStation Plus member or not, starting next week, you will be able to try out Killzone: Shadow Fall's multiplayer mode free of charge.

Shadow Fall's free multiplayer week begins March 3 at 5 PM PST and will be available for a week. The free week of multiplayer is in honor of Shadow Fall's first free map DLC, which arrives on March 4. The game offered a similar free multiplayer weekend last year.

European PlayStation 4 owners can pre-load the game now to get things ready to start playing next week. North and South American players will unfortunately have to wait until the client is available on the PlayStation Network on March 3 in order to start downloading. For more on the event, check out developer Guerrilla Games' blog.

Our Take
Steam has been offering free multiplayer weekends for assorted games for quite some time. It's a trend I am happy to see the console space adopt.
