PlayStation Blog Asia Lists Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition For PS4

by Kyle Hilliard on Feb 26, 2014 at 03:25 AM

According to a post on PlayStation Blog Asia Hong Kong, a PlayStation 4 edition of the Housemarque-developed, twin-stick zombie shooter Dead Nation is on the way.

The game, along with the subtitle Apocalypse Edition, appears on a list of games coming for free to PlayStation Plus members in Asia starting on March 6.

Housemarque is the developer behind Resogun and Super Stardust HD, among others. Dead Nation released in 2010, and was offered as a free download as part of Sony's welcome-back program after hackers crippled the PlayStation Network for an extended period of time in 2011.

Our Take
It's unclear if Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition will make its way to North America, but it seems likely. Housemarque is based in Finland, but none of its games have gone unreleased in the United States. I'm sure we'll be hearing an official announcement soon.
