Rusty's Real Deal Baseball Coming To 3DS In April

by Joe Juba on Feb 13, 2014 at 10:31 AM

A downloadable baseball game coming to Nintendo's handheld focuses on specific aspects of baseball rather than playing full games.

According to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is developed around the theme of "good feelings," and has the player interacting with a former baseball-playing dog named Rusty Slugger.

Rusty runs a sports shop, which is really a storefront from which players can buy baseball minigames based on batting, fielding, umpiring, and more. Though the base game is free, each of these minigames cost $4. However, by haggling with Rusty and giving him items in-game, you can lower the real-world cost of the minigames.

Rusty's Real Deal Baseball will be available to download for free in April.
