The lights are on
The game we’ve come to know as “X” was featured in today’s Nintendo Direct, but interestingly left its single-letter moniker behind. In its place though, we see combat reminiscent of Xenoblade Chronicles.
The same MMO flare that fans loved in Monolith Soft’s Wii title looks to be making a return. You’ll see in the clip the player character moving freely between on-foot and mech-based combat. Enemies range in size, and some can be fairly large.
Monolith Soft’s title does not have a release window, nor does it yet have English voice overs. It might be a while before we get our hands on this nameless (but very intriguing) RPG.
Looking good. I always find Japanese trailers extremely fascinating with the mashup of both the Japanese and English languages.
I absolutely LOVED Xenoblade back in 2011 and this seems to capture almost exactly what I enjoyed so much about the combat in that game. Here's hoping the story, world, and voice acting live up to its predecessor as well.
This game looks awesome! However I'm not a fan of the HUD and all the numbers. I know it's probably next to impossible to have that taken away with out a huge loss of functionality but I just find it distracting. Everything else looks great!
It def looked like Xenoblade meets Monster Hunter... with gatling guns and mechs.
Am I the only one that thinks that Iwata san is literally a tiny little man that lives in my smartphone?
My most anticipated game :D I can't wait to play it.
Holy flying wizard of oz monkeys!!! I need this in my Wii U! Right! Now!
I hate memes, but somehow I need "Huge Succeeded" to become one.
In other news, this game looks so hype. I need it in my life.
I've played every Xeno game from Xenogears to Xenoblade and they have never let me down. I'm gonna buy a used WiiU just to play this game and whatever new Zelda that releases.
This is going to be so epic.
It looks intense, I REALLY want to play it.
Mmmm... Yes please!
Must have this..
hope they put the original Japanese Voice/Dub. but heck, can;t wait for this game! Wii U's comeback game! (along with bayonetta 2 and some!)
