Worms Battlegrounds Announced For Playstation 4 And Xbox One
Earlier this morning, we reported that Team17’s Worms series will be one of the first ID@Xbox One titles to be released. The developer has now confirmed as much, revealing the title, platforms, and release window.
Worms Battlegrounds will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year. A PC release has not been announced at this time.
Our Take
I’m pleased that the new-generation Worms title isn’t simply a port of the PC Clan Wars game released in August 2013. Worms continues to be an enjoyable series, especially when playing against another human. I’m interested to see if this iteration changes things up or makes use of the features of the new systems.
