Report: Ninja Gaiden Developer Preparing A PlayStation 4 Game
Team Ninja is hard at work with Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, but it recently hinted at work on an unannounced PlayStation 4 title, as well.
In an interview with Japanese website Dengeki Online (translated by Gematsu), team leader Yosuke Hayashi said the studio was co-developing the upcoming Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z with Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune's recently founded studio, Comcept, as well as another title. According to Gematsu's translation, Hayashi said, “Additionally, we’re also developing a PlayStation 4 title internally, so please look forward to future updates,” after offering some details Yaiba.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 18.

Our Take
If Gematsu's translation is accurate, Hayashi is specifically citing a PlayStation 4 game, as opposed to a new-gen title that could release for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There was a time when Team Ninja made games exclusively for Xbox. Both Dead or Alive 3 and 4 were Xbox exclusives, as well as the original Ninja Gaiden. Maybe Team Ninja has decided to change teams?
