The lights are on
EA sent along word today revealing the full line of merchandise that will accompany the release of Titanfall in March. Respawn’s big debut is expected to be one of the go-to multiplayer experiences of 2014, and EA is stocking up on related products to fulfill fan demand.
The full line-up includes a branded Turtle Beach headset, a full line of MadCatz PC peripherals, Prima strategy guides, an art book, apparel and accessories from JINX! And Level Up, new posters from Trends and GB Eye, special Titanfall USB drives, and last but not least, a line of K’NEX Construction sets.
Titanfall releases in North America on March 11th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. EA provides no word about when particular merchandise products are to release, but you can bet that the majority will be out on day one to capitalize on fan excitement.
Our TakeIt comes as no surprise that EA is putting some big marketing and merchandise muscle behind Titanfall – the publisher clearly sees Respawn’s game as a centerpiece of its 2014 catalog. As far as the merchandise itself, the coolest possibilities might be from the K’NEX construction sets, since it should let gamers build those awesome mechs and set them up at home next to whichever screen will be playing Titanfall.
