The lights are on
If you’re a fan of competitive PC gaming, your yearly opportunity to attend North America’s largest LAN gathering is fast approaching. QuakeCon 2014 will arrive on Thursday, July 17 and run through Sunday, July 20. If you’re looking to attend, you’ll likely want to make reservations at the Hilton Anatole; the Dallas hotel is offering a rate of $159 a night for attendees.
The 19th year of QuakeCon promises plenty of opportunities for gaming, but Bethesda also plans to show off some of its upcoming games, and offer hands-on opportunities. As usual, attendees can also attend a variety of panels and parties over the course of the weekend. For more information, check out the convention's official site.
Our TakeQuakeCon began as an organic gathering of gamers eager to gather in person, and has grown dramatically over the years to the giant event it is today. It’s remarkable that the get-together has remained such a big part of gaming life for so many years.
