Madden NFL 25 Predicts Broncos To Win Super Bowl

by Mike Futter on Jan 27, 2014 at 05:55 AM

Madden NFL 25 might not be the real thing, but as a predictive measure, the series has an impressive track record. EA’s football simulation has correctly picked eight of the past ten Super Bowl winners.

If this Sunday’s matchup in New Jersey plays out like the simulation in Madden NFL 25, the Broncos and Seahawks will take the game into overtime. A final field goal sends Denver home with the Lombardi trophy.

EA has put together a video of the game’s highlights, which you can see below.  It’s important to note that meteorologists disagree about the weather conditions. A shifting weather pattern is making it hard to predict if skies will be clear or if precipitation will be a factor. The Farmer’s Almanac is predicting “stormy, heavy rain, and snow” for February 2.

Our Take
As a resident of New Jersey, I could do without the snow that EA and the Farmer’s Almanac are predicting. As long as the power doesn’t go out though, I’ll be glued to the television for the commercials and the pigskin.
