Good news for the budget-conscious shooter fan – Respawn's highly anticipated shooter Titanfall will be free of microtransactions. It seems that all you'll need to get to all the 6v6 mech action is the initial $60 price of admission.
The news was made official via a tweet from Respawn's official account. In response to a fan that asked about microtransactions and season passes, @Respawn said "No microtransactions. I don't have any news on a season pass."
Our TakeIn recent years, there has been a lot of backlash when it comes to microtransactions. Regardless of your stance on them, it's nice to know that the full Titanfall package will be available to everyone that owns this promising shooter.
Freakin awesome. I don't really mind dlc maps or things of the sort but when you have to pay cash for a certain weapon after you buy the game.... that really grinds my gears.
This game keeps getting better. Respawn has a lot of potential here.

Yes... this is a 60 dollar game, so why would it have microtransactions? Oh right, because we've become decentralized to publishers shoving this in games.
That is definitely some great news. I wonder how good the 360 version will be though, because I don't have an Xbone yet.
