The lights are on
The alien insect invasion won't come as much of a surprise, as publisher D3 has broadcast the release date of Earth Defense Force 2025.
The game comes out for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 18, and when it does, the game's first package of DLC will also be offered for $2.99. The DLC, entitled Special Ops, features five new, unspecified missions.
D3 has also outlined EDF 2025's future DLC roadmap: Mutant Rampage (20 new missions for $8.99) hits on February 25 and Beyond Despair (also 20 missions for $8.99) is released on March 11. The publisher says that all of the DLC will be available in a bundle, but it did not specify its price or release date.
Also be sure to check out the game's pre-order goodies.
Our Take:It's nice to see a game's DLC laid out before us so we can plan our playtime accordingly. Then again, does this mean that the DLC is already finished and left off the main game?
