Klei's Incognita Changes To Invisible, Inc.

by Bryan Vore on Jan 16, 2014 at 09:47 AM

Klei Entertainment, developer of Mark of the Ninja and Don't Starve, today slyly revealed that it's upcoming game, Incognita, will now be called Invisible, Inc.

The former website now redirects to a new location that features the different name. Designer Jason Dreger posted the following message in the Klei forums today.

We have changed the name of the game to Invisible, Inc. After some focus testing, Invisible, Inc. was better received than the old "Incognita". Our focus of the design does not change in that it will still be a game of turn based tactical espionage. So please enjoy your future infiltrating as an elite member of the super spy agency: Invisible, Inc.

Check out the new trailer below and read a recent preview.

Our Take:
Several editors around the Game Informer office will miss the old title, but Klei has to do what it thinks is best for business. Hopefully, this doesn't create too much confusion in the marketplace for people who missed the name change news.
