Development Officially Wraps On Fable Anniversary, Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed
Fable Anniversary has gone gold, which means the version of the game that will be pressed on discs and sold is complete. Lionhead has also detailed some of the pre-order bonuses available for reserving the game. According to Lionhead, "physical copies of the game are being created as we speak and will be winging their way to retailers shortly."
As is the normal practice these days, your pre-order bonus will change depending in where you reserve the game, though Lionhead didn't clarify which retailers will get which bonuses. In order of appearance below, the Peiratēs pack offers a pirate outfit and sword, the Snowspire pack offers a Snowspire guard outfit and The Jackarse fish weapon, and Apollo's pack offers the outfit that character Apollo wears, as well as a crossbow. Lionhead says all of these items will eventually be available to purchase and download online.
Fable Anniversary will be available on February 4 for Xbox 360. For more on the game, check out our interview with the game's lead designer.

Our Take
This is one of those games that I wish was also available for Xbox One. It just feels like the sort of game that would have been very appropriate for the launch window of a new console. In any case, I'm still excited to revisit Albion all over again next month.
