January PlayStation Plus Titles Touch All Three Platforms

by Mike Futter on Dec 26, 2013 at 05:15 AM

Sony is kicking of 2014 with a month of impressive PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection titles. Whether you play on a PlayStation 3, Vita, or a new PlayStation 4, there’s something for you.

The first title of the month will be Klei Entertainment’s Don’t Starve. The survival adventure has been a hit on PC, and it’s making its way to PlayStation 4 on January 7.

The other titles that will be available during the month are DmC Devil May Cry (PS3), BioShock Infinite (PS3), Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS3), Smart As… (Vita), and Worms: Battle Islands (Vita).

With the exception of the two Vita games, the January titles are all under a year old on their respective platforms. Check back in with us every Monday to find out which title will be entering the Instant Game Collection that week.

Our Take
This might be PlayStation Plus’ best month yet. BioShock and Infinite and DmC Devil May Cry are two fantastic games that were worth the full price of admission. Don’t Starve will be free at launch on PS4, and Brothers was one of my favorite experiences of 2013.
