Motivated Fan Remaking Jurassic Park: Trespasser With CryEngine 2

by Kyle Hilliard on Dec 22, 2013 at 10:30 AM

The fan-created project, titled Trespassing, is a remake/re-telling of Jurassic Park: Trespasser, and it's been in progress since 2007.

You can see some early work that has been done on the remake by checking out the comparison screens of the same area above and below.

Along with updated visuals, the remake will also merge all the levels into to one gigantic open area, allow backtracking, and improve the gameplay. You can find out more about the project by checking out the game's blog. You can also see more images from the remake by heading here.

Jurassic Park: Trespasser may have been a bizarre, hilarious, nearly unplayable mess, but you can't deny that it had some poorly executed innovative ideas. I like the idea of seeing the game remade with modern standards. We recently played the game in an episode of Replay, which you can check out below.

Thanks to Stew Davis for the news tip!
