Reader Discussion: What Are Your Favorite In-Game Holiday Moments?
As you bundle up and get ready to settle in for an egg nog-filled holiday, we’d like you to take a moment and think about how your favorite holidays are represented in video games. Whether we’re talking about Christmas, Halloween, or a more secular “Winter Festival,” holidays play an important role in a number of titles.
Some representations are lighthearted like the Halloween of Costume Quest and the Christmas of Rockstar’s Bully (complete with ugly sweater). Other representations, like Elite Beat Agent’s heartbreaking Christmas story, are bit more emotional. Then there’s Calendar Man in Batman: Arkham City who has something to say about a variety of holidays.
