The lights are on
Xbox One fans are getting another game before 2013 comes to a close. Max and the Curse of Brotherhood, a story about a young boy and his quest to save his brother, will be out tomorrow, December 20.
The title from Press Play games is a platformer with that requires players to manipulate a magic marker with a variety of elemental abilities. The puzzles involve using the different abilities in combination and trusting in the physics to propel Max to safety.
The title will be available for $14.99. You can read our three-level preview from PAX for more information.
Our TakeWhatever happened to planned release dates? I’m glad that Max is arriving, as I greatly enjoyed my time with it, but I’m afraid the lack of notice is going to hurt. Stumbling release dates seem to be a growing problem especially on consoles (and PC titles with console iterations, like Telltale Games titles). Here’s hoping this is passing problem and we get back to being able to plan for releases a bit better.
