NES Remix Lets Players Put A Twist On The Classics
Nintendo announced a new downloadable Wii U title called NES Remix, which allows players to play familiar NES games in new ways. Have you ever wondered how Link would fare against Donkey Kong, or what Excitebike would be like at night? Your dreams are about to become reality.
The game supports 16 different classic (or in some cases, merely old) titles, including Baseball, Clu Clu Land, Donkey King, Super Mario Bros., and Urban Champion. Some of the challenges include pitting Mario against giant versions of Bowser; dimming the entire track in Excitebike, except for a sliver of space illuminated by the bike's headlight; and taking on batting challenges in Baseball.
Players will be able to collect stamps and share their clear times with friends. It's available now on Nintendo's eShop for $14.99.
