Report: Terminal Reality Closed

by Matthew Kato on Dec 12, 2013 at 02:52 AM

Terminal Reality, developers of Kinect Star Wars, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, and the BloodRayne series, among other endeavors, has reportedly closed its doors.

The news comes from a Facebook post from 10-year Terminal Reality vet Jesse Sosa. "TRI seems to have finally shut down," he posted. Sosa mentioned that things were "going downhill," but did not provide specifics. Posts on the company's Facebook profile from the fall mention a project, but it's unknown exactly what Terminal Reality was working on. The company was also involved in engine development.

If we get any concrete confirmation of the situation, we'll be sure to give an update.

Our Take:
I don't know which games Terminal Reality's engine was licensed out to,  and I wonder if its R&D, etc. was a drain on the company.
