The Pokémon Company has put together a 90-song collection of tunes from Pokémon FireRed And LeafGreen and made it available on iTunes.

The soundtrack features orchestrated and adapted versions of the music from the Game Advance games. You can grab the whole soundtrack for $11.99. This release is part of long-term release plans that will eventually include more Pokémon soundtracks. The music from Pokémon has already similarly been made available. Here's what is coming soon:

  • Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver
  • Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire
  • Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl
  • Pokémon Black and Pokémon White
  • Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2

You can head here to grab the soundtrack yourself.

Our Take
I'm pretty excited to see Nintendo releasing soundtracks like this on iTunes. I would love to see a collection of Mario soundtracks, or Zelda soundtracks available for easy download on the service. Hopefully these Pokémon soundtracks are successful.
