Quantum Break Gameplay Shown At VGX
At the Xbox One launch, we had a chance to speak with Remedy creative director Sam Lake. We learned more about the storytelling of Quantum Break, and at tonight's VGX we saw gameplay further explained.
Quantum Break is an action game with moments of time breaking down. Time freezes and skips, but players have their own time powers. The video shows off slowing and dashing, as Jack and Beth work to topple Monarch and villain Paul Serene.
Remedy is building on the success of Max Payne and Alan Wake to combine storytelling with action. The time powers will be detailed the next time we see Quantum Break, which we now is slated for a 2014 release only on Xbox One.
