Project Spark Beta Begins For Windows 8.1 Users
The first wave of invitations for the Project Spark beta have gone out. If you registered for participation in Team Dakota's PC beta, check your email.
The beta will be coming to Xbox One early in 2014. Project Spark, a free-to-play game-building experience, was first announced at E3. Players will be able to create and mold worlds and share them with other players.

Our Take
Project Spark has a lot of potential, but we still don't know a lot about the monetization structure. The pricing of additional parts and how much is available for free will likely determine how Project Spark hooks potential creators.
