PlayStation 4 Firmware Update 1.51 Available Now
Sony has rolled out a new firmware update for the PlayStation 4 that improves a few elements of the user interface and stabilizes the operating environment. You’ll get a notification that it’s been added to the download queue and depending on when that is, it might be ready to install when you next turn on your system.
The firmware update will ensure that users know when a game and a patch are downloaded at the same time. This patch does not add any major features like wireless headset support or suspend/resume. Those will be coming later.

Our Take
You won’t have a choice to update if you want to connect to PlayStation Network or browse the store. Note that you’ll need to manually trigger the installation from the Notification window. It’s a fairly quick process, and we were back up and running under two minutes.
