Skyrim Fan Creates Realistic Dragonplate Armor Costume

by Mike Trinh on Nov 19, 2013 at 06:46 AM

Redditor Starkfelt17 has created an incredibly realistic version of Skyrim's Dragonplate Armor, one of the best armors in the game.

In Skyrim, the entire set would require six dragon bones, thirteen dragon scales, and a maxed out smithing skill. However, some of these components don't exist in real life.

Starkfelt17 made this version of the Dragonplate Armor using Celluclay, faux leather, spray paint, and numerous other complicated materials. The whole process took about three months to finish.

To get an in-depth look at the process of making the armor, visit his Imgur page. Check out our coverage of other fan-created costumes as well.
