The lights are on
Before last Friday, in order to stream gameplay from a console to Twitch, you needed an external device. Whether your favorite flavor is Elgato or Hauppauge, streaming meant connecting your console to a little box and then running a wire to your PC. The PlayStation 4 changed all that.
The controller’s Share button makes it easy to get your content directly onto a Twitch channel without the need for peripherals. That means that the airwaves have been flooded with Resogun, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Killzone, Warframe, and more.
We want to know if you’ve been using this feature (either as a streamer or a viewer). Is this your first foray into streaming? What’s your experience been like?
Let us know in the comments, and maybe you’ll be featured in a second reader discussion later today.
