Original Story:

Even though next-gen consoles will be able to record and share video, for those interested in recording longer clips and doing post-production work, that might not be enough. Game capture devices will work at launch on the Xbox One and shortly thereafter for the PlayStation 4. Our friends at Elgato have given us one of their Game Capture HD devices to pass on to you.

All you need to do is write your best next-gen haiku. You’ve got until Friday November 8 at 3 PM Eastern before we lock it down and choose our favorite entry.

As a reminder, haikus are three lines composed of five syllables in the first and third lines and seven syllables in the middle. Be creative, have fun, and leave your entry in the comments.

You can learn more about Elgato on the company’s website and follow them on Twitter.

Note: Winners must be located in the United States. Sorry, international readers.
