Blizzard Introduces Playable Heroes Of The Storm, Beta Signups Today

Blizzard kicked off BlizzCon in Anaheim with a bang. Dustin Browser, game director on Starcraft II and Heroes of the Storm revealed the first cinematic and gameplay trailers.

Players will take to different battlegrounds as Tyrael, Kerrigan, Jim Raynor, Arthas, Diablo, and many more. Each of the maps will have different objectives. For instance, Blackheart’s Bay will task players with collecting treasure to bribe a pirate to turn his cannons on the opposing team. 

Dragonshire will put players on a race to control the Obelisk of the Sun and Obelisk of the Moon. Once controlled, one hero can be transformed into a nearly unstoppable Dragon Knight.

The game is playable at BlizzCon on hundreds of machines. Beta signups for Heroes of the Storm open up today.
