Over 1,900 Combined Years Of Call Of Duty Played Everyday

by Mike Trinh on Nov 04, 2013 at 08:54 AM

This might come a surprise to some, but apparently a lot people play Call of Duty.

According to a new infographic, Call of Duty players spend more than 16 million combined hours everyday playing the series. Players have also played 18 billion total matches, died and respawned 1.9 quadrillion times, and destroyed nearly $3.5 quadrillion worth of UAV drones in multiplayer.

Activision also recently released a live-action Call of Duty: Ghosts commercial that briefly features Megan Fox.

Our Take:
The Call of Duty franchise has a habit of shocking us with its infographics. This one just adds to the overflowing amount of evidence that the series will not slow down any time soon. After prestiging twice in Black Ops, I understand the addictive quality of the Call of Duty multiplayer. But I still find these figures astounding and even a little sad. Just think of what could have been done with all that time.
