Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Free This Week With PlayStation Plus

by Mike Futter on Nov 04, 2013 at 05:30 AM

Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen comes to PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection this week. If you’ve been itching for some monster slaying, this is one to download.

Dark Arisen is an expanded version of 2012’s Dragon’s Dogma. This release comes with all of the original content, along with a new set of adventures that originate on Bitterback Isle.

We had nice things to say about Dark Arisen in our review. If you like what you read, you’ll be able to download the game tomorrow when the PlayStation Store updates.

Note that the next title to rotate off the service is Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD, so get that before it’s too late. For more on this month’s Instant Game Collection titles, click here.

Our Take
The Instant Game Collection pattern continues to unfold itself, with most months kicking off with the biggest title on the list. This month is special though, with the first PlayStation 4 titles joining the program alongside the console’s November 15, 2013 release.
