The lights are on
The latest video from YouTube's favorite special effects wizard, FreddieW and Rocket Jump, showcases the difficulty of aiming a virtual gun when all you've got to work with is a small touch screen.
The video also serves to highlight a contest from mobile controller developer, MOGA. MOGA and FreedieW are asking filmmakers to create short films based on yet unrevealed themes and requirements. The best filmmakers will take home high-end Red Scarlet cameras, with a large cash prize going to the overall winner.
You can check out FreddieW's video below, which is highly accurate about mobile gaming's inaccuracies, and you can learn more about the contest by checking out the overview here and more details here.

Mobile games aren't good for anything besides emulation.
Im so happy someone say it . Mobile games are so anoying!! Until they introduce a controller and a hdmi output, mobile game will never get me in.
I thought it was difficult too but the new Dead Trigger is really really easy and fun!
Yeah. Mobile FPS's are a pain in the ass.
I personally have never been a fan of mobile games, especially FPS games on mobile. I have no problem with handheld gaming on systems designed for it (ex: 3DS, Playstation Vita), but it just seems out of place on my phone. I'm aware that there are some very successful and fun mobile games, but first person shooters simply don't work well in general on phones, and this video really captures that in the comedic style that makes all Freddie W videos so enjoyable!
Anything that involves a virtual d-pad on mobile sucks. Rayman does it right by controlling the direction and limiting buttons to two sides of the screen.
Except for Dead Space mobile, which works fantastically. Granted, that is third person.
Y'all just need these! tenonedesign.com/fling.php
