Standalone Nazi Zombie Army 2 Released On Steam
The standalone expansion to Sniper Elite V2, Nazi Zombie Army 2, launched yesterday. If you’re still craving some Halloween fun this weekend, or just a fan of anything zombie-related, Nazi Zombie Army 2 could offer the spooky cooperative experience you’re looking for.
Players can return to zombie-occupied Berlin alone or with three friends. The new campaign pits players against the varied undead: a horde of zombies – some with guns some without – and blue-glowing skeletons.
If you’re interested in knowing more, we saw our first trailer for Nazi Zombie Army 2 a week ago. Be sure to check our review for the first game as well. It was a pleasant surprise.
Our Take
The original Nazi Zombie Army released earlier this year (February 28). Eight months later, Rebellion launches its sequel. My expectations are not high for a game with a development cycle this short. I imagine it parrots the gameplay of its predecessor.
Fans of the series might find something they’re interested in here. Otherwise, it could be a novel experience for gamers this Halloween. My friends and I might pick it up for this weekend – if I'm willing to shell out $15.
