The lights are on
Gameloft has released a launch trailer for Thor: The Dark World - The Official Game, which puts players in control of Thor as he battles Malekith and the Dark Elves. Features include hammer and armor upgrades, famous Asgardian allies with unique abilities, summons, and a total of ninety missions to complete.
Thor: The Dark World can be played on Android (2.3 and up) or iOS (5.0 and up) devices, and is free-to-download on Google Play and the iTunes Store.
Check out the trailer below, and remember that this game can't be any worse than a previous Thor game we'd rather forget.
I'll just stick with the movie, thank you.
sorry ive learned a long time ago. STAY AWAY FROM RECENT RELEASED MOVIE VIDEO GAMES!. cause there has only been Avatar to be considered the best ever released. and that's all I have to say about that.
Do you do test chambers of mobile games?
I'll be staying away from this one, I don't understand why they even bother with these games anymore. Movie - Hell yes, Game - No thanks.
I like that in the past year or so a lot of the tie-in games for these sorts of movies have been on mobile. Iron Man 3 and Dark Knight Rises were both pretty fun, albeit not very original, mobile games. Besides, it frees up console game developers from the constraints of working under impossible deadlines to release concurrent to the movie and film executives dictating creative decisions in the game. (For the most part at least)
"Decimate your foes..." I'm not sure reducing their numbers by 10% will be enough...
Impressive that it looks that good on mobile, but I can only imagine how it plays. . . *sigh* I'll just be see'in the movie thank you very much.
Gameloft's been pretty excellent with the movie tie-ins on phones (Spiderman played just like the PS2 clasic, and Dark Knight was like a watered down Arkham City). But most of the time, free-to-play usually means "pay $50 for weapons/armors that don't suck," "wait 3 hours to recharge your stamina/craft your weapon" or my favorite, "YOU DIED! Pay $2.99 to resurrect, or FU."
I don't have high hopes for this.
