Super Motherload's Devs Reveal Price For A Ticket To Mars

by Jeff Cork on Oct 30, 2013 at 04:34 AM

Super Motherload charmed PC gamers when it debuted as a Flash-based release a few years back. Now the addicting Martian-mining game is coming to the PlayStation 3 and 4, just in time for the new console's November 15 launch. Developer XGen Studios has revealed the game's price, as well as a few details on its Dualshock 4 support.

The game will cost $14.99, and it includes Cross-Buy with both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. If you're playing on the PS4, you can swipe in various directions on the controller's trackpad to use bombs, and see your character's color represented via the LED light bar.

Our Take
There's a healthy pile of  retail games hitting as the new consoles launch, but don't forget about the downloadable titles that are also coming. Super Motherload looks like a great pick for players sitting on the next-gen fence. You can enjoy it on your PS3 while you decide if the new hardware is worthy of your cash. If you do make the leap, you'll have it on the new machine, thanks to Cross-Buy support. Not too shabby.
