The lights are on
Over the weekend, Namco Bandai intended to conduct a network test, but unforeseen errors prevented that from happening. The company has now rescheduled and posted a code for anyone to download the client.
The upcoming network test on November 9 and 10 will take place overnight. You’ll want to have some caffeine handy, as the test starts at 11 pm Pacific on November 9 through 2 am Pacific on November 10.
If you aren’t yet in the test group, you can enter a PlayStation Network code (38QQ-8DNE-97AA) to download the client on a first come, first served basis. As of last night, Namco reported that there is still space. For more on Dark Souls II, check out our preview from TGS 2013.

Our TakeAs a reminder, this is not a beta test in the traditional sense. This is a network test, intended to provide very specific data to the development team. As per previous statements, there is no tutorial. Players will be dropped into the game with little direction. In short, expect even less of a “gameplay” experience than the average beta. If you want to participate, know that your efforts are intended solely to improve the final product.

Why!? Not cool, not cool bro!
Slept in too late, its full now
I've done a lot of network and beta testing and this is just a really haphazard way to approach the situation. I think a lot of people are doing this to demo the game. Are they sending out post network surveys? If they do, how many "Demo Players" are actually going to fill it out to give the company insight?
I hope they know what they're doing. This doesn't seem useful.
Well at least we are getting another chance. First test was fun and did some glitch reports that I came across but the combat felt smoother then the previous games and the two bosses in the network test are rather fun. Only issue I had with the first test was that summoning and invading was a bit tough. I never got invaded and summoning took time to get working. Hopefully full game will be better in the multiplayer department.
Where I lived, the beta was from 1-4 A.M. I stayed up to play it and didn't get to. Unimpressed. :/
I'm buying the game regardless. Dark Souls is a masterpiece.
www.google.com/url - Aaaaaand I'm excited as all hell again. I stayed up all night after work last time, and I'll do the same here.
I honestly can't wait to get my hands on any part of this game. I hear you're able to check out the various covenants as well in this particular beta.
I'm hoping it allows players to summon people as well, as a few of my friends and I are going to attempt some jolly co-operation.
I'll see if I can get this ***. But damn, that is pretty late. 2am for me.
