The lights are on
Rockstar has released the Android version of its Grand Theft Auto V companion app. The iFruit app is downloadable now from the Google Play store.
This allows users to customize vehicles and license plates, “stalk” in-game businesses with LifeInvader, and teach Chop the dog new tricks. The server issues that plagued the app when it launched on iOS seem to be smoothed out now.
The app also gives users access to the Rockstar Social Club. Here, you can check your progress toward 100 percent, connect with friends, and manage your crew.

Our TakeAs far as companion apps go, iFruit is a mixed bag. Being able to teach Chop new tricks and buy him different collars is neat, but the minigames to earn those things are slightly maddening. The ability to customize cars though, is a bit more practical. This isn't a must-have for GTA V fans, but at the low price of "free," there's no reason not to download it (especially if you're on the quest for 100 percent completion).

Headline is harsh.. we get it, you aren't a GTA fan. The custom cars stuff is more fun for those of us stuck at work all day long.
Wow, that's really...something.
I played with this app a little on my iPad but training the dog is pretty lame. I used this app to customize my plate so now all my cars have LASTSON as the license plate which is cool. I also use it as an easy way to get to my crew page.
Yay! Wondering when this was going to happen. Cool cool. I was beginning to think that it wasn't going to be coming to Android at all. Good to see it tho!
COULD HAVE USED THIS BEFORE I BEAT THE GAME!!!
Man, Google Store users are tearing this app apart in the reviews section, purely based on how late the release is for Android. Oh well, the only companion app I'm still waiting for is the Injustice app for Android.
they finally remembered us
But I've already finished the game, so now only online is left. Too late people :(
What makes this an "iFruit" app?! I thought this headline was going to read, "iFruit" app allows you to track fruits through Los Santos and blast them will bullets, lol
This would have been awesome a month ago. Now, I've finished the game and am on to other things. GTA 4 is still the best in the series imo (I know it's an unpopular opinion, so don't jump down my throat saying how wrong I am - I do not care).
5 was fun, but it was waaaaay too easy. Cops were a joke - just turn a corner and hide in a bush/under a bridge until they go away, no 6-star wanted level with army and tanks - I honestly don't think I got busted a single time in the game - cars are indestructible and do not blow up, which ruins the fun of running away from cops and frantically searching for a replacement vehicle after yours catches fire.
But eh, to each his/her own. I'm glad people seemed to have liked the game. 4 is more my thing, though.
I am so happy that I put aside this game until now! I started a file about 2 days ago and I was even talking to my brother about how I felt bad that Chop was always so bummed out, thankfully I can make him happy now
Already finished the game, and not compatible with my device. What a timing!
What app download this google store?
