The lights are on
Most of Game Informer’s editors will be busy making their way through the Kalos region in Pokémon X & Y this weekend. Some might also visit Gotham City and Los Santos before Monday.
Tim Turi: This weekend is all about Pokémon and catching up with some Top 50 Games of the Year contenders. The action starts off with Rayman Legends and Lego City Undercover on Wii U this evening. I’m also one gym and a fight with the Elite Four away from beating Pokémon X. In addition I hope to begin Beyond: Two Souls and continue my co-op adventure with Kim through Dead Space 3.
Jeff Marchiafava: This week I plan to catch up on some downloadable titles. I still haven’t played the first episode of Wolf Among Us, and I want to start Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. I’m also hoping to put some more time into the new Star Wars Pinball tables, and cause some more havoc in GTA Online.
Ben Hanson: I have been playing too much Pokémon lately, so this weekend I'm going to spend some more time playing Pokémon. The next step is to face the Elite Four. I've found the game to be ridiculously easy so far, so I'm hoping they put up a good fight. Needless to say, I love the game. Outside of that, I might start Batman: Arkham Origins or continue Lego Marvel. Have a good weekend!
Kyle Hilliard: Pokémon keeps pulling me back in for random reasons, so I will probably continue to play that a bit. Otherwise, I really want to finish Grand Theft Auto V before tackling Batman, and I am enjoying my time with Wind Waker HD. I got the swift sail recently which has given me a lot more motivation to keep re-playing the game.
Katie Seville: I’ll be playing more Pokémon, especially now that I’ve finished manipulating my team’s natures and stats. I may have time for some BioShock Infinite this weekend as well, but Saturday is reserved for working on my Halloween costume.
Isaac Perry: I’m working on my Halloween costume. I won’t have much time this weekend, but if I find myself with an opportunity I will continue my quest into DMC. I would also like to add that DMC is awesome.
Mike Trinh: After spending too much time this week Super Training my Pokemon team and maxing out EVs, I can finally progress in the game. I’m hoping to at least get to the fourth gym before the end of the weekend. Any spare time will probably be spent playing Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on PC.
What are you guys doing this weekend? Let us know in the comments.

I'm going to finally be able to play Grim Fandango this weekend. So excited!
Working and working. In-between I'll play some Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Candy Box 2, Minecraft, and maybe Ride to Hell: Retribution since it's on sale on Steam.
Instead of working on my backlog, I've gotten addicted to Minecraft (again). I just built the best house I've ever built. Now I'm going to attempt to finish off Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. I'm SO close to wrapping this one up. I may also just check out Hotline Miami for a bit, seeing how it's this week's free PS+ game.
Bwahhaha Pokemon X all the way! Glad to see Tim Turri pick up X, my guess is because Xerneas reminds him of the forest spirit from Princess Mononoke ( like it did for me)? I'll be playing a little bit of Donkey Kong Returns 3D as well :3 I enjoy it far more than the Wii version's awkward controls.
GTA V mostly and my birthday is tomorrow.
I'm playing through Metroid Prime 2. I'm slightly underwhelmed by the combat, I find it becoming more tedious then past Metroid games. Nonetheless I'm still encouraged to play it. I might also pick up Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
I'm finishing up Arkham City tonight so I can get on to Origins. Playing Borderlands 2 for the loot hunt, and thinking about going to see Bad Grandpa because it looks really funny.
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. It's nowhere near as funny as previous entries, and many of the Bros. Attacks are tough to pull off to the point where you don't really want to take a chance with them during battles. I'm still having a good time with it though, and it's huge.
Lots of Borderlands 2. I need to get serious and start grinding levels so I can solo some of the raid bosses. Also going to play through TWD: 400 Days and either Skulls of the Shogun or Clash of Heroes.
I'll be playing Arkham Origins & probably more GTA V. I beat GTA already but it's still so much fun. I'll be playing these 2 until Assassin's Creed 4 comes out.
Batman this weekend for me. Maybe some more GTA too just messing around in the world now that I beat the game.
Off and on with GTA V, cleaning up the side missions to get to 100%, plus it's a long weekend!!
Final Fantasy 14: a realm reborn has caught me on a hook, since I downloaded it digitally...so i'll be stuck on that for this weekend.
Well I've spent way too much time in SteamWorld Dig this past week, but I beat the game, so now I can move on to other things. I hope to continue getting my HR up in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, I may buy Origins or Blakgate, or maybe even both, and I also hope to spend some time with my 2nd playthrough of Mark of the Ninja.
I will be playing GTA Online and Paper Mario Sticker Star.
Arkham Origins all weekend!
