The lights are on
We showcase all kinds of video game-related art all year 'round. This time of year is special though, as it's the only time we get to show off pumpkin carvings, and these are some really excellent ones.
The images above and below were taken by Rob Fleischer of Sandbox Strategies at Rise of the Jack O'Lanterns. This event is held annually on Long Island in Old Westbury, New York. It's still going on this weekend and next.
Advanced tickets are required, and you'll need to visit at a specific date and time. Given that there are over 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins though, it's understandable why they might not want overcrowding (and the resulting smooshed gourds).

The Link one is the best
Those are all pretty awesome. The Tomb Raider and Mario Cart ones are my favorite. I always end up screwing mine up every year!
talent...all needs to be said...
The Tomb Raider one is my favorite.
Those are awesome! Too bad I don't live anywhere near New York.
Meh, I guess the mario kart one is kind of cool if you're into that sort of thing. /s
They all look great but I was really impressed with the details of "Link"
The Link one is awesome. My roommate and I carved a pumpkin with the DA2 logo a couple years ago.
