The lights are on
There was a groan heard round the mobilesphere when EA and PopCap announced that Plants vs. Zombies 2 was coming to iOS devices first. Now, two months (and millions of downloads) later, Android fans can finally join Crazy Dave's time traveling adventure.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 is now out worldwide for Android devices. The title is fully integrated with Google Play Game Services, and it's free-to-play (with in-app purchases). You can read our review of the title here.
Our TakeAndroid fans have been clamoring for PopCap's botanical beauty, though the switch to free-to-play has been a bit off-putting for some. Some plants can only be unlocked with real money, but as you'll read in our review, they are optional. The best part of free-to-play is that you can give it a try and make your decision after sampling.

I just checked and it still says " This item is not available in my country' What is going on I'm From the USA?
Finally! I was beginning to wonder if we were ever going to get the game on Android.
Will give it a try. Wish they would make a fully featured version for pay. I would gladly pay $10 for it.
Been wanting to play this, even though I still have to beat the first one.
Have it on my Iphone but I want this on my Vita! Make it happen!! Wonderful game by the way!
Downloaded this on my iphone weeks ago and never even tried it out. The move to F2P just makes me wary. I've been told by several people who loved the first that this one is bad in comparison due to the push for micro-transactions.
I'm not seeing it on the Google Play store.
Its not out on Android. This has all been a hoax. Do some research GI
Great news! I was waiting for this moment.
downloading after a little bit of searching. had to go to the "games from Electronic Arts" section
Come out for the 3DS already!
So far, I still like the original better. We'll see if that stays as I keep playing.
