The lights are on
The 7th Guest, the classic 1993 full-motion video horror video game, is now available to download through Steam.
The game released for iOS in 2010, but it has now made a return to its original platform, the PC. You can head here to download the game for $9.99.
Last year, we put together a large retrospective piece on the development and release of The 7th Guest where we interviewed the game's creators. You can head here to read the full feature.
Our TakeThe 7th Guest is one of those 'revolutionary at the time' games that hasn't aged particularly well over the years, but is still a lot of fun to look back on. Availability on Steam means it won't be difficult to track down this piece of video game history anymore, which is good news.

The 3rd game is in development and is supposed to get a kickstarter soon.
Not to mention "I have no mouth and must scream" released for steam. If you are looking for a creepy, dark, existential filled adventure game, then you'll love it
OMG.. this is really old school... I really hope someone could reboot/remake Loom. Lol i bet no one knows about it.
first pc game i bought after doom lol
It was pretty tense and epic. Plus, the twist was quite something...
Personally, this game doesn't stand the test of time. I was hoping to enjoy it again, but no dice. Oh well, I did enjoy it when it was first released.
I can't help but wonder who's making money on the game given the horrible meltdown of the game's original creators and Trilobyte.
Oh man I remember this game. My mom used to play this back in the day. I believe she had the sequel too. The 11th Hour? Is that right?
