The lights are on
Pokémon X & Y players have reported issues when saving in certain areas of the game's Lumiose City, and Nintendo is preparing a patch for the game.
Nintendo wasn't able to offer a date for when the patch will be available, but it says it will be available soon. In the meantime, Nintendo is recommending that players DO NOT save in the areas highlighted in blue in the map of Lumiose City above.
Nintendo has sold more than four million copies of Pokémon X & Y since its launch. That's a lot of games that will need a patch.

Our TakeNintendo has a pretty stellar track-record when it comes to releasing bug-free games. It's a testament to their skill when we say that the appearance of this bug is a surprise. Hopefully the patch will be available soon.

Well, all's well that ends well. Glad that Nintendo can right some wrongs.
someone is forgetting GTA ONLINE!
huh... I didn't have a problem in my game. I saved in that area all the time.
Damn I just saved in that city too...... I haven't played since that last save though.
It seems to be safe to save indoors in Lumiose, or at least it has been for me. I did accidentally save in the blue area once, but I ran into the Pokemon Center and saved again right away and reloading worked just fine.
Hmmm I saved at lumiose city and found no problem...wait did I?
