Weekend Warrior 10/18/13
This weekend, many GI editors take to Pokémon, The Wolf Among Us, and, yes, GTA V. A few GI editors are taking to committing crimes online after the recent title update for GTA Online. Others will be catching up on Agents of Shield and Pacific Rim.
Kyle Hilliard: I am still playing Pokémon, but I’ve hit the relaxed stage of play where I just check in every now and then to wander the grass and maybe perform a few trades. It’s finally time to get back to Grand Theft Auto V. Even though I’ve already played a ton, I’m not very close to the end. I’ve got a ways to go. Otherwise I will probably be checking out Pacific Rim after missing it in theatres and slow-cooking a pot roast.
Ben Reeves: This weekend I'm going to try a couple more runs in The Stanley Parable on Steam. Don't read about it, don't watch gameplay videos, just go play it. Outside of that I want to spend a lot more time with Pokémon. Right now my team consists of Geninja, Charizard, Mawile, Mr. Mime, Pikachu, and Golett. Have a good weekend!
Jeff M: I finally beat GTA V, so this weekend is going to be devoted to committing crimes in GTA Online. I might also check out the first episode of Fables, since everyone is going bonkers for it.
Tim Turi: My world has paused for Pokémon X. I am consciously focusing everything I have into continuing the game, even on nights I don’t completely feel like playing. I marathoned through about eight hours of Pokémon SoulSilver last year, then never picked it up again. I don’t want that to happen this time.
Mike Trinh: This weekend, I will be playing a little-known game called Grand Theft Auto V while catching up on Agents of Shield and Legend of Korra.
Katie Seville: Pokémon. So much Pokémon. That’s pretty much all I’m going to be doing. I might pick up Bioshock Infinite again, but we’ll see. I’m also still trying to come up with a Halloween costume I can put together on my limited budget. Did I mention I’ll be playing Pokémon?
Isaac Perry: I’m still recovering from the first episode for The Wolf Among Us. I’ll probably play something cheerful like Left for Dead 2 or a PS2 favorite – Gladius.
