The lights are on
Velocity Ultra, the formerly PSP exclusive, upgraded for Vita side-scrolling shooter, is coming to PlayStation 3 before the end of the year.
Developer Curve studios announced the game's port to PlayStation 3 on the PlayStation Blog, but it wasn't able to offer an exact release date. The game will release sometime in 2013. The PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the games will share leaderboards and Trophies.

Our TakeVelocity Ultra is a cool, atypical side-scrolling shooter. I am happy to see it will get a chance to broaden its audience beyond handheld players.

I've been wanting to try this game out. I see that it was on hand-held and was hoping that it would make it's way to console. Great News!
Woop aI shall get this one :3
Always good to broaden your audience. Good for them.
Ahhh, well it's good to see it getting released, but at the same time, it's lowering the value of the Vita to have so few games to call it's own (and yes, I understand it was ported from the PSP to start with). I love shmups, so I may have to get this. I've had money sitting in my PSN account for ages.
Now for the other dozen great Vita games out there to just get ported to PS3. . .*sigh*
