The lights are on
Last year, Mark Hamill announced that he retiring from the role of Joker in the Batman Arkham games, but fans who were worried about Troy Baker's portrayal of the character should rest easy. Baker's Joker is dead nuts on.
During a Batman: Arkham Origins panel at this year's New York Comic Con, voice actor Troy Baker recited a Joker's monologue from Alan Moore's graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke. Check out the excerpt from the panel below.

Yeah.... isn't this a tad old news? I swear I already saw this video in one of the GI articles.
Man, is this Troy Baker's year, or what?
Any concerns the naysayers might have had will evaporate in the face of this performance. Nicely freaking done.
He did good, I liked his Joker laugh quite a bit too.
Damn he's good.
OMFG!!!! Troy baker just nails EVERYTHING he is at. The guy is becoming a freaking Videogame LEGEND!!!!
Cant wait for Arkham Origins and to play as him in infamous Second son. :D
Well I guess we have our joker for Arkham 4
This reminds me of when Arkham City was coming out and Arleen Sorkin announced that she retired from the role of Harley Quinn. She was the only voice actress to have given the character a voice so fans were nervous about the character returning in Arkham City with a new voice. However, Tara Strong took the role and did a fantastic job with the character and that's not an easy character to voice. Now that Hamill is done with the Joker and Baker is taking over, I feel this sense of Deja Vu. Talented actors taking over iconic roles, crazy stuff.
That...was...awesome! I could watch him talk like that all day. God I wish I could do stuff like this.
A VO virtuoso.
he sounds pretty great but i liked the preivous joker voice better.
That laugh. . . kudos to Baker for being the second person on the planet that can do that. . .
A little off topic but before Adam West dies, I would LOVE for him to voice a 1960s Batman TV Show themed game. I can picture Nolan North doing the cheesy mustache Joker voice. And have Troy Baker making those awkward Penguin squeals.
A DLC campaign like Blood Dragon would do. Keep the Arkham gameplay fundamentals but add some sound effect bubbles.
Wow, I was kinda sad when Hamill said he wasn't doing Joker's voice anymore, but Baker sounds spot on.
