God Of War: Ascension Developers Moving Onto "Other Projects"

by Kyle Hilliard on Oct 12, 2013 at 12:42 PM

The God of War: Ascension team is done with DLC for the game's multiplayer component, and is moving onto "other projects". The servers will remain active and monitored receiving fixes when necessary, but there won't be any new content additions to the game.

The last patch to the game will be a balance adjustment, and will hit when the game is made available as a digital download later this month on October 15.

Our Take
"Other projects" is very vague. It could be an entirely new project, which I think would be exciting, or it could be more God of War. The latter of those two options is the less exciting one, but I certainly wouldn't say no to a next-gen God of War on PlayStation 4.
