The lights are on
This weekend, some GI editors are taking a break from GTA V with new releases like Pokémon X & Y, Beyond: Two Souls, and The Wolf Among Us. But mostly everyone is, you know, playing GTA V.
Kimberley Wallace: My mission is to finish Beyond: Two Souls this weekend. I liked what I played of a preview build, but it was only the first hours, so I want to see how it all turns out. Other than that, I’ve been also playing GTA V; one day I’ll finish! I also have my preorder set for Pokémon X. Too many games. Story of my life.
Jeff Marchiafava: After falling off the GTA V bandwagon this week, I hope to finally finish up the single-player campaign and spend more time with GTA Online. My fledgling hoodlum is falling further and further behind – I’ll never be able to buy my own mansion at the rate I’m going.
Joe Juba: I've got a review game that I'm pretty excited about, so I'll be digging into that over the weekend. Hopefully I'll also find some time to finish up Beyond: Two Souls and crank out a few more levels in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. I'm interested in Pokémon, too, but my current schedule means that I probably won't get to start it this weekend, which may be a blessing in disguise.
Mike Futter: I'm going to carve out some time to play the first episode of The Wolf Among Us. I'll also be sitting on the couch with the kids on Sunday, opening up far too many Skylanders and taking Swap Force for a ride. I might also try that GTA V thing that everyone is talking about. Finally, my dog gets really freaked out by the noises sectoids make in XCOM: Enemy Unknown. That makes for good times.
Kyle Hilliard: My daughter’s birthday was earlier in the week, but we will be continuing the celebrations through the weekend. When she’s sleeping, however, I am painfully overdue for some Grand Theft Auto V time. I’m also excited for Pokémon’s release this weekend. I'll finally be able to start trading and playing with other trainers.
Isaac Perry: I’m thinking of trying my hand at Dota 2 again. Also, I need to finish Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs.
Katie Seville: I’ll be picking up my copy of Pokémon Y in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow, and I plan on playing it all weekend. I recently started Bioshock Infinite, but I’m sorry to say that it’ll probably be on the back burner for a while.
Mike Trinh: I feel like I’m going to be saying this for a long time, but I will be playing GTA V this week. Not even close to finishing that game. I might also distract myself by trying out a game or two from the latest Weekly Humble Bundle while patiently waiting for Pokémon X to come in the mail.

I'm getting Pokemon X tomorrow morning, and plan on playing it obsessively all weekend.
Continue to watch with envy as my friends list says nothing but GTA V.
I'll be picking up Pokemon Y for sure and perhaps X as well around 9am CT Saturday morning, but I'm still not sure if I'll be starting this weekend or not. I just picked the MASTER SWORD from the stone in Wind Waker HD, so the big 3 dungeons await me. I'm completely loving the game thus far. Other than that, I'll be playing some Person 4 Golden here and there. Another amazing game. Wow. Amazing games are all I play I guess.
It's a pretty great game but the whole world jumping elements or whatever they are, confuse & muddle the story up a bit for me. Vigors could have been more entertaining too. A solid 9ish for me though. I think I'm nearing the end so when I finish that probly tomorrow I'm gonna buy TellTales Fables. Extremely excited by that! It looks great & I have full faith in Telltale now that they finished The Walking Dead masterpiece.
As always, football on Sunday & football practice before the games start!
Handful of missions from beating GTA, just started Beyond Two Souls and love it so far, and I bought a Wii U with Wind Waker yesterday. Too many good games should never be a complaint.
Feeling lazy on gaming lack of motivation to play Naruto Storms 3 and get trophies on FF13 hopefully my energy is back tomorrow.
Playing some XCOM: Enemy Unknown that I scooped up via a Steam sale, Mayhaps some FF:IV on DS and Dragon Age: Origins at some point. Rest of the weekend is for watching bad horror movies and teams fail at football.
Replaying Assassin's Creed III for 100%. Starting The Walking Dead: 400 Days I haven't played but Tim Gruver reviewed positively. Watching American Beauty because I felt like Kevin Spacey in that film all week. "I want as little responsibility as possible."
Just stared Dishonored this afternoon
Platinuming GTA IV - fingers crossed.
3 words: Pokemon Y baby!
Working on my school transfer applications *sigh* this is so stressful.
Gaming wise I will dedicate it to beating Kingdom Hearts HD (last world) and possibly playing some Killzone 3 online. Also I'd like to start Beyond Two Souls.
Tales of Xillia with my brother and a friend (working on that now), Some Kingdoms of Amalur, probably some Saints Row the Third when I wanna nut tap people, and (inevitably) Dwarf Fortress.
I just got Dishonored: GOTY Edition, so I'll probably be digging into that most of the weekend (I'm loving it so far). I'll also be sharpening my skills in Batman: Arkham City in preparation for Arkham Origins.
Despite still having plenty to do in GTA V, I'll be powering through the rest of Beyond this weekend.
I'll be finishing up Beyond: Two Souls and than I'll start playing through it again. I'll downloading The Wolf Among Us tonight, and the Borderlands 2 Loot hunt starts tomorrow so I'll will be messing with that. I'm planning to go seeing Captain Phillips this weekend to.
